Agility and Pet obedience club.
If you are looking for something to do with your dog but are not to keen on the idea of obedience training then agility may be for you.
If your dog is in good health and has bags of energy agility is a fantastic outlet. All your dog needs to be able to do when you start is basic commands (sit, come when called etc), and you have to have a quick assessment at our obedience in a Thursday night in Compstall.

Here is a picture of our training ground in Woodford, its all indoors so we don’t get all muddy and wet if it rains! At the far end is the beginners area.

This is our beginners side, as you can see the equipment is all there but its lower so you and you dog can learn each part of the equipment safely.

The big blue and yellow obstacle on this picture is an A-frame, your dog must walk up and down it and must touch both the yellow bits. (Trust us its harder than it sounds!)

When people first think of agility they almost always think of border collies just like Zack in this picture, but at High Peak we have a wide range of breeds, from the Border collies to Jack russells, Labradors to Toy poodles and even a Rhodesian ridgeback and a Miniature Schnauzer, and of course the Hinez 57.
