Walking:
The first visit:
Before we can walk your dog we will come and do a quick free assessment to meet you and your dog(s), this gives us a chance to ask a few questions and discuss your requirements, including contact numbers and what times your dog needs to be walked. The keys can be left with a neighbour or you can give us a spare set. The keys are kept in a secure place and DO NOT have any reference to your house on them, or near them.
Walking:
After we have familiarised ourselves with your dog(s) then we can start walking them. If you feel comfortable that after a few visits we can let him/her off the lead, that is fine. If not then we will take your dog(s) on a suited pace walk. We will also play with your dog, and if you require we can reward your dog(s) with treats for good behaviour whilst walking.
The areas we go to:
Depending on the area you live in, we will usually take your dog(s) to a local field or park. For areas surrounding Stockport, Romiley, Marple, Mellor, Bredbury and Woodley we will go to places including Brabyns Park, Redbrow Wood, Chadkirk and Wernerth Low Country Park. We will vary where we go to keep your dog(s) interested, stimulated and happy. Also, a young energetic dog who needs to let off steam will probably be taken to Brabyns Park so they can chase a ball. If your dog is older, or needs to be kept on a lead we may go to Redbrow Wood as it is not as busy and there are lots of nice new smells and things to see.
We now also cover Poynton, Wilmslow, Cheadle, The Heatons, Edgely and surrouning areas
Where we go:
If you live in Marple, Romiley, Bredbury or Woodley - This is one of the places we can take your dog(s).
Brabyns park is large park with a woodland area and a river, it is also used for football at the weekends so we tend not to visit at the weekend. If we do however, we tend to stick to the woodland/river areas, as dogs love footballs!
Brabyns park is very clean and tidy, and mainly away from the main road.
